QR Codes Guide

This page explains QR Codes in plain language so your team can confidently create and manage them.

What you can do

  • Create QR codes for:
    • Website links
    • Contact cards (vCard)
    • Email
    • Text message
    • Phone call
    • Microsite
  • Assign a QR code to a Campaign
  • Customize colors, pattern, corner style, and logo
  • Download QR files as PNG and SVG
  • Track scans over time and top scan locations

Create a QR Code (step-by-step)

  1. Open QR Codes > Create QR Code
  2. Add a name
  3. Pick a QR code type
  4. Fill in the required destination fields
  5. Optional: choose a Campaign
  6. Optional: adjust style and add logo
  7. Save

Edit and manage QR Codes

  • Change name, type, and destination fields later
  • Enable or disable Gateway (countdown page before redirect)
  • Keep the same printed code while updating destination data
  • Delete QR codes when no longer needed

Analytics available

  • Scan history chart (date range filter)
  • Top locations by scans
  • Team-level “Top QR Codes” list

Important notes for non-technical teams

  • Use clear names like “Store Poster - Front Door” for easier reporting.
  • Test every new QR code with at least one iPhone and one Android device.
  • If something changes, update the QR destination in app; do not reprint immediately.
  • Watch your plan limits shown in the QR Codes page sidebar.
